  • Our property assessment came in and was up by 3 million dollars – Last year we were assessed at 9 million and this year we are assessed at 12 million. Last year we paid $26,221 (taxes $47,991, minus our homeowner grant of $21,770, equals $26,221). This year we could pay $44,113 (taxes $65,883, minus our homeowner grant of $21,770 equals $44,113), which is an increase of approximately $20,000. We are still not sure of the final numbers for our taxes this year.
  • Sandra (Unit 36) had a question as to whether or not we are going to appeal the assessment. Any appeals need to be in no later than January 31. Andy will talk to Jaimee about this.
